RHP Ryan Schneider (Fond du Lac, 2021) popped up late last summer and fall and secured himself a commitment to Evansville in October. He'd just eluded our staff to this point, and we were finally able to see him first-hand at The Rock. There, Schneider showed off some physical projection (standing in at a thin 6-foot-2) while demonstrating a feel to pitch and spin. He sat 86-87 mph in relief with a fastball that got on a robust STiKS lineup, featuring some useful horizontal action. He mixed in a tight 72-75 mph slider, too, featuring good action and bite.
