Cole worked 1.1 innings of relief to get the win for Carroll, striking out two with no walks, and no runs allowed. His fastball was 84-87 mph, working mostly at 85-86 mph. His best offspeed pitch was his bowling-ball changeup that had heavy depth at 74-76 mph. His slider came in at 69 mph with gradual, lateral break.
