7/20/16 5-foot-10, 160-pounder plays bigger than his size. Right-handed hitter utilizes a pronounced leg-lift stride to initiate his swing and registered a bat exit velocity of 85 mph. Went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases on day one showcasing his foot speed (6.79 60-yard dash). Solid glove hand with accurate 83 mph arm strength should allow Houser to plays multiple infield positions at the next level. Potential move to the outfield to take advantage of his foot speed is also a possibility.
11/7/15 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter who ran a 6.79 60-yard dash and logged an 82-mph exit velocity. Starts from a slightly open stance and takes a waist-high leg lift that he doesn't always get back down on time. Barrel wrap creates some length in swing path. Defensively, he played with a little bounce in his step and showed an ability to make plays on the move. While he would benefit from fielding the ball further out front, his short arm action generated accurate throws of 78-mph across the diamond and currently profiles for the other side of the keystone at the next level.
