9/24/17
A right-handed pitching prospect in the 2019 class. Delivery starts with a slower paced tempo that speed up at the top of his leg lift. A tall and fall type guy that lands slightly closed at foot strike. Offers a fastball/breaking ball combination through a near over the top slot. Arm speed is developing. Fastball showed regular arm side run, sitting 75-78 mph. Spins a sweeping breaking ball at 65-68 mph. Displayed some feel for the offering that acted as his out pitch.

6/15/16
5-foot-11, 170-pound thinner, athletic body frame. On the mound he uses a good hip load with his lower half to generate his velocity, using regular effort to his delivery. He lands slightly more closed at foot strike, finishing with his momentum carrying toward home plate. His fastball is thrown between 71-75 mph. Curveball has gradual break with 11/5 tilt between 60-64 mph. Throws his changeup using fastball arm speed at 66-68 mph. From third base he has a tendency to stop his feet, and would benefit by continuing his footwork playing through the baseball. Fields with his hands out in front of his body. Throws with a clean short arm action through an upper ¾ slot, while reaching a top velocity of 69 mph across the infield. Switch hitter, from the right side of the plate he starts from a balanced stance, using a toe tap as a timing mechanism. Has a tendency to load his hands back a little late at times. Swings with a flat bat path, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice, while finishing with a top exit velocity of 60 mph from the right side. From the left side of the plate he has a similar swing, starting from a balanced stance, and uses a toe tap for a timing mechanism. His load with his hands seemed to be more consistent and on time, moving fluidly back toward his shoulder. Follows through with a two-handed finish, and again showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice, from the left side finishing with a top exit exit velocity of 62 mph. He ran an 8.46 60-yard dash.
