2/18/18
5-foot-10, 185 pound prospect. A college level hit tool from the left side. Loading sequence is simple and fluid. Path plays and he can spray it to the opposite field gap or turn on the ball with authority. Uses both sides of the field, with more present pop to pull side. Enough juice to be a run producer with the ability to find the barrel often. Defensively he looks to be an adequate corner guy in the infield. From the mound, the athletic right hander uses a slightly up tempo delivery with fluent rhythm. Throws from a ¾ slot. Generates most of his momentum from his upper body. Fastball comes in on a downhill plane sitting 72-74 mph. Breaking ball shows developing command on an 11-5 tilt with gradual break at 64-65 mph. Changeup has similar arm speed to his fastball coming in at 66-68 mph. Also flashed a knuckleball with minimal spin and decent movement.

5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect. At first base, he is comfortable around the bag. Springs off and acts with a sense of urgency with the double play ball. Quick transfer with short arm action. Top velocity of 70 mph. A lefty swinger with above average natural tools at the plate. Does a very good job of creating energy with his lower half. Barrel gets on plane early, giving him a large margin for error in timing. Stays fluid throughout his loading sequence. Has the look of a high average guy that can do damage.
