The right handed pitcher with an athletic frame stands at 6-foot, 165-pounds. Delivery has a quicker tempo in which he comes to a crouch with his leg lift to activate the lower half. Uses a near over the top arm slot with a quick arm. Fastball sat 83-86 mph with ASR. Showed a good feel for his slider that sat 75-78 mph with a sharp, 10/4 break. Changeup was one of the best on the day at 75-76 mph, had good arm side fade with fastball armspeed.

6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame. Uses a quicker tempo and showed good direction to home plate. Max effort type. From a near over the top slot his fastball sat 83-86 mph while working downhill. His 12/6 curveball is his best offspeed pitch with sharp, late break at 73-74 mph. Maintains fastball armspeed on his 74-77 mph changeup.

6-foot, 162-pound athletic build. Put together one of the top defensive performances of the day in the outfield. Showed aggressive footwork with the ability to breakdown before fielding the ball on his glove foot side. Got excellent use out of his crow hop which was shown through his 88 mph arm strength to home plate. A right-handed hitter that was able to create good energy and flashed a fast bat through the zone. Starting slightly open he uses a short, aggressive stride as he takes his hands back and tips his barrel. Takes a level path to the ball and showed good extension through contact. Exit velocity was 80 mph.  Creates good momentum in his delivery, landing in line at times and occasionally falling off to first base side when he really throws it. Throws from a short arm action into a ¾ slot with some effort in the delivery. Arm has good quickness to it. Four pitch mix with the fastball sitting 81-84 mph. Slider is thrown with 10/4 sharp break at 67-69 mph. Curveball also showed sharp action at 71-74 mph on a 11/5 plane. Changeup sits 74-77 mph.

Appolloni sat 81-83 from a high 3/4 arm slot recording six strikeouts in three inning of work. the 6-foot, 160-pound right-hander also displayed a 75 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 71 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed. Appolloni has a tendency to fall off his mid-line at times affecting his command against right-handed hitters. Continued physical maturation and a tweak in mechanics should lead to additional velocity spikes in coming years.

6-foot, 160-pound athletic build. Has a chance to be a two way prospect at the right level. On the mound he has a slow tempo delivery that lands on line. Throws form a long, high-3/4 slot with is fastball sitting 80-83 mph. Has good feel for his breaking ball at 67-71 mph with good 11/5 gradual break. Showcased a solid changeup at 73 mph with good arm speed. In the outfield he shows good arm strength and uses a good run through with a crow hop. Was 81 mph from right field to home from a high-3/4 slot. Right-handed hitter that stands tall with little load. Has a little toe tap and swing gets in and out of the zone with 83 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.25-60.
2/16/15
6-foot, 155-pound body frame. From the outfield, he uses good athletic foot work to approach ground balls with solid crow hop mechanics. He throws using a clean arm action coming from a ¾ slot showing good arm strength reaching a top velocity of 88 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Keeps his hands back and shows a short, compact swing with 81 mph exit velocity and ran 7.51-60. Really shined on the mound from a projectable frame. Showed a live, loose arm from a high-¾ slot and his fastball sitting 80-83 mph with sink. Has an advanced breaking ball at 69-71 mph with good late 11/5 break. Very good pitch for him. Also, showcased a solid changeup at 74-76 mph with good arm speed.

10/26/14
6-foot, 150-pound projectable frame. From the infield he is real aggressive and shows good range. Slow exchange and throws from a max effort high-¾ slot with 81 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter that starts square and steps in heavy on front foot with a high finish. Registered top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. On the mound he uses a simple delivery with a quick arm that closes himself off at foot strike. Fastball sits 77-81 mph with a breaking ball at 66-70 mph with a 11/5 break. Uses a hard changeup at 74 and a slider with late break at 68-70 mph.

Appolloni worked three innings sitting 79-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot while allowing just one run. The 6-foot, 150-pound righty has a long, loose delivery and his 73 mph curveball has tight 11/5 rotation with late down action. Appolloni struck out three and allowed just one hit in his time on the mound. The right-handed hitter hits from a slightly open stance with a high hands load. Appolloni showed good tempo to his swing in batting practice and flashed a 79 mph arm from his outfield position.
