June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

Peak FB: 84-MPH

Range 80-83-MPH

CB/SL range: 66-68-MPH

CH range: 73-75-MPH

Medium sized build with present strength. Uses a compact delivery and shows good body control in his actions. High 3/4 arm slot with good quickness/hand speed as he finishes. Competitive demeanor on the mound. Consistently mixed pitches and went after hitters.

April 2018

Bats and throws from the left side. Impressive performance vs. Monroe-Woodbury throwing a CG one-hitter, allowing 1 run while striking out 10 and walking two. Sat 82-84 through the first four innings, showing a same plane change at 75-76 and 2-to-8 sweeping CB at 68-69 MPH. At the plate he doubled to right center; even setup with easy effort stroke

Winter Open (February 11, 2018)

Compact, physical 5-foot-7 167 pound OF/1B/LHP who ran a 7.49 60 from the left side. Offensively- Open setup; pre-pitch bat waggle; aggressive lower half with lightning quick hands into the zone. Shows some pop to pull side with line drive results through the middle. Exit velocity was 89 MPH. Defensively- Controlled approach in the OF; proper crowhop that allows for body to turn and get into throwing position while keep arm action long. Plenty of carry at 86 MPH, needs to repeat release point. Can be very accurate. On the infield hands work out in front, bends at the waist with a quick start to the double play. Will need more polish around the bag but has the right idea. Was 77 MPH on throws to 3B. Pitching- Impressive effort on the mound sitting 82-84 MPH with some arm side life to FB. Controlled pace with a long arm action from a 3/4 slot. Works from the glove side of the rubber; late fade and sink to change up at 73-74. Some slurve/slider feel to breaking ball at 69-70 MPH. Impressive dual prospect.

Fall 2017

Smooth, easy stroke with some punch to the left-handed hitter's pull side. Ball jumped off the bat. Clean approach from the outfield with an accurate arm with carry. Carved up the strike zone during his pen sitting 77-80 MPH with a sharp tilting slider at 73-74 MPH. Flashed a change at 73 MPH.

May 2017

Compact build in the 5-foot-9 range; clean actions with the glove and handles himself well around the bag. Relaxed setup at the plate for the LHH; sweeps through the zone some and can be a bit of a front foot hitter. Calm demeanor hitting 3rd for the Middies against Class AA competition. A definite must follow along with twin brother Kevin (3B).
