4/29/17
Florida State recruit. Line drive single up the middle produced a 95 mph exit velocity. Strong, broad shouldered outfielder. Has put on muscle and speed since last year. Violent hands and hips through the zone. Short and quick swing, has plus feel for the barrel for his age.
4/23/16 - Paxia stands at 5-foot-11, 230-pounds. Started at the DH in today’s game as a freshman, Paxia is one of the best 2019 power hitters NJ has to offer. The righty stands with a slightly open stance at the plate with a tall, strong presence in the box. He utilizes a small leg kick to load then explodes his hips and arms through the hitting zone to produce outstanding bat speed. A participant of the International Power Showcase Home Run Derby at Marlins Stadium, Paxia hit homers measured at distances in excess of 400 feet, his longest coming at 439 feet. On this day had a sac fly off of Duke commit, LHP Bill Chillari (St. Augustine Prep).
