4/5/16: Werner, a 6-foot-3 180lb UIndy commit, tallied his first no hitter and struck out 10 Mooresville hitters Tuesday evening on the way to a 7-0 conference win. The long, tall righty sat 81-84 throughout the cold evening touching 86 in the fourth. Curveball was 69-73 and down with gradual 11/5 shape. Changeup stayed down with some sink at 71-73. Shoulders stay level and in line during the delivery. Falls off after the pitch is thrown. 

6/25/15: The 6-foot-3 175 pound pitcher was 82-84 with the fastball.  Fastball was straight and thrown for strikes.  Curveball was thrown between 71-73 with gradual break from an 11/5 shape.  Possesses some arm speed.  Rhythm is a little rushed with level shoulders. Stays in line and finishes athletically. 
4/14/15 GAME NOTES: 6-foot-3 righty uses a high 3/4 arm slot with a long, free arm with average arm speed. Tall at balance point with some effort and good rhythm. Fastball sat 83-84 most of the night with good downhill plane. Breaking ball sat at 64-66 with gradual break and down in the zone. Commanded both pitches well striking out 10 in a complete game appearance.  

12/7/14: 6-foot-3, 173 pound righty possesses a strong, athletic frame.  Pitches from a ¾ slot with quick arm speed and a long, loose action.  Good line to the plate and finishes athletic.  Delivery is deceptive.  Fastball shows good downhill plane at 82-84.  Breaking ball shows gradual movement but erratic in the zone at 68 mph.  Changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed and has some sink action at 68-71.
