4/3/15 GAME NOTES: The UINDY commit was 83-86 touching 87 with his fastball.  Late breaking curve ball at 72-75 with some depth.  Pitched 5 2/3 innings, striking out 6 while walking 2.  Allowed 4 earned runs on five hits.  

6/25/14: 6 foot- 1 inch/ 185 pounds, 4.53-H-1^st,  Athletic RHP, throws from a ¾ slot, fastball is 84-85 with occasional sink, slider is 74-77 with late break and consistently in the strike zone. From the outfield he threw 84mph with average carry and on target. He is a aggressive hitter, hits from an open stance with a long stride and good extension through contact, pull/power type hitter.

2/22/14: 6-foot-1, 190 pound righty topped out at 86 mph at the event.  Handlon possesses an over the head pump delivery with good direction.  Pitches from a ¾-high ¾ slot with good arm speed.  11/5 breaking ball sat 72-75 mph with late action.  Changeup shows some fade at 74-75. A top unsigned 2015 right handed arm.  INF: Ran a 7.12 60 at the event.  Displays solid defensive actions at 3B.  Possesses above average hands with fluid footwork.  Plays through the baseball with athleticism and has a clean exchange.  Offensively, starts open and loads back.  Stride is long.  Hands stay low throughout with above average bat speed.  Consistently makes hard contact. 

12/15/13: 6-foot, 185 pound junior showcased good arm strength across the diamond at 80 mph.  Fields it clean with solid defensive actions.  Offensively starts wide and gets even wider when he strides.   Overall simple approach to the baseball.  Drops barrel and makes hard contact.  Some stiffness with his lower half.  Hands work.  Posted an exit velo of 80 mph.  

Pitching: 6-foot, 185 pound junior throws from a high ¾ slot.  Long, lanky frame.  Over the head pump delivery, repeatable.  Possesses a short, quick arm action.  Fastball sat 82-83 mph with some downward movement.  Breaking ball shows an 11/5 shape with a sharp action and late life at 71-73 mph.  Changeup shows some fade at 73-76.
