6/1/15: Athletic right hand pitcher that can play multiple positions. On the mound in the sectional championship game vs Heritage HS his fastball was 83 – 85 mph and in the strike zone with occasional arm side run, and a 73 mph curveball that was tight with late break.  6 foot 1 inch tall and 180 pounds he has an easy delivery from a ¾ arm slot. Very strong lower body, he catches and plays third base. Offensively he hits from a balanced stance with his hands high, he generates bat speed and will hit for average and power. Also a High School quarterback.

4/30/15 GAME NOTES: Mason is athletic enough to play multiple positions. He has enough arm to play the left side of the infield. He handles pitchers and moves well behind the plate and he is 82-83 mph on the mound. At 6 foot – 2 inches tall and 190 pounds he hits from the right side in a narrow stance and a short stride, could hit in a phone booth. He generates bats speed and has the ability to hit for power. Currently at Bellmont High School he is hitting .455 with 8 doubles, 17 RBIs and only 1 strikeout. He has pitched 23 innings gave up 5 earned runs with 35 strikeouts and 6 walks.

2/28/15: 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, 7.50/60, bats right, throws right. Strong and athletic with room to grow. Defensively he has average hands and fluid feet; throws from 3B are 83 mph across the infield on target and with carry. He hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, average use of the lower half.  Average balance.  Average bat speed, long path.  Recorded a high exit velo of 87 mph.  

PITCHING-6-foot-2, 190 pounds, strong and athletic with room to grow. Fastball was 82-83, up to 84 mph from a quick ¾ slot, his delivery is rushed and he goes to the well on the back side. Change up is 76-78 mph with some sink, curveball is 71-73 mph.
