2020 DRAFT: The Tallahassee native Logan Lacey had a strong, two-way career at Tallahassee Community College before transferring to Florida State for his junior season. At TCC, the athletic 5-foot-10, 190-pound right-handed two way prospect had a fastball up to 95 at times. Showing an athletic delivery with some effort and a loose arm action. Also showed a tight slider at 77-81 mph and feel for an 85 mph changeup with fade. In his first season with the Seminoles, Lacey had in instant impact with the bat. The junior got off to a blazing start hitting at a .379 clip with a 1.059 OPS in the shortened season. Lacey had 4 multi-hit games and ended the season on a 5-game hitting streak. Defensively, fields position athletically, attacks the ball, arm carries with accuracy, more than enough strength to stick on left-side. Had starts at third base and right-field for the Noles this spring.
10/31/18: 5-foot-10, 190-pound right-handed two-way prospect, athletically-built. Athleticism shows in delivery, arm works loosely, there is effort. Fastball sat 92-95, up from first look earlier this month where he sat 88-91. Slider, tight sweeping action, 77-81. Changeup, fade action, 85 mph.
10/9/18: 5-foot-9, 190-pound two-way prospect. Middle infielder fields position athletically, attacks the ball defensively, arm carries with accuracy, more than enough strength to stick on left-side. On the mound ran his fastball up to 91, sitting 89-91. Slider at 79-80.
