4/1/16 (IMG Classic)- 6-foot-1, 200 pound Mercer recruit with a stronger lower half and durable build. Showed loose hands with some good bat speed and the ability to make hard, solid contact at the plate from the left hand side. Slightly open stance with good timing. Ball jumps off the bat and has the ability to drive the ball into the gap with some pull side approach. Good pitch recognition and takes good at-bats. Behind the plate he received the ball well with a good release along with on-line and accurate throws to 2B. Deadens pitches in the dirt well that are right in front of him, okay on balls to his left or right. Gets in an aggressive, ready to throw position with runners on.
2/2/16 - Mercer signee. 6-foot-1, 200 pound switch hitting catcher with a thick strong blocky body. Solid receiver with average type hands. Good arm strength but has to stand up to throw with an overhand arm slot. Strong, accurate throws. 2.1 seconds to second base. Has strength and quickness in the bat with some lift in swing from the left side. Good present power. Aggressive approach. Didn’t see much from the right side. Offensive catcher with power. Was 2-4 with 2 doubles. One off the right field wall and one deep to center field. 
10/28/15 - Mercer commit. 5-foot-11, 190 pound catcher with a thick blocky strong body. Switch hitting catcher with strength in the bat on both sides. Swing has length but has average raw power. Good catch and throw guy with good hands and feet and an average arm. Good solid all around catcher.
Big thick strong durable catchers body. Solid receiver with plenty of arm, good footwork with a quick exchange, on line accurate throws, has the defensive tools for the next level. Switch-hitter with a short compact stroke from both sides. Good bat path from both sides with some some pull power. Open stance with good load and separation. Uses lower half well. Shows good patience and pitch recognition. Good student.
