4/13/18 – The 6 foot 1, 175lb, USC commit went 0-for-4 with 3 quality at-bats Vs. Huntington Beach on this day. Olmstead exhibits smooth defensive actions with an above average arm. He had to make some quick throws and put some hot sauce on a couple of them. Olmstead can make plays on the run look easy, can throw from all the angles, and turn a smooth double play. When he does square up the ball it's loud and violent. What stood out the most is his inner fire to compete. The game got out of hand early and Olmstead was still competing at 100%. He displayed excellent leadership qualities with excellent body language and demeanor.
