Robby Ashford (Hoover HS, 6’4 210, OF)- an exceptional athlete that has seen his stock rise of late. Was enjoying a phenomenal sophomore year before injury sidelined him about halfway through the year. Before the injury, he was hitting .393 with 5 2B’s, 2 HR’s, a .574 OB% with 14 SB’s against the grueling schedule that Hoover plays each year. A true fast twitch athlete that can play multiple positions but his speed projects as an OF, showing legit low 4.0’s home to 1B. No doubt his best days are in front of him on the diamond. He is also the starting QB for Hoover’s nationally ranked football team. Was not able to play baseball this summer as he was rehabbing from injury and preparing for the football season. He has made it perfectly clear he wants to play both sports in college and this will weigh into his decision from the SEC offers that continue to pile up.
