As the spring high school season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Report is excited to announce one player who emerged ahead of the competition at all levels in the state of Virginia. This player has been selected not only for their outstanding statistical numbers, but also for their overall effect on their high school program.

Wesley Clarke C Liberty Christian 2018

Clarke, a senior Catcher from Liberty Christian Academy, produced a strong statistical season while helping lead his team to the No. 1 ranking in the Virginia Power 25 during the regular season.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Clarke signed with South Carolina and was recently selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 40th round of the MLB draft.
