College coaches and recruiters have been limited in 2020, which has made it extremely difficult to evaluate position players thoroughly without seeing them consistently in gameplay. The new shift in recruiting circumstances has created a slower market for position players in comparison to uncommitted arms, which have come off the board at a more consistent rate. The cold market doesn't indicate lacking in uncommitted senior talent, as there are many skilled prospects on the board looking to make a splash this Spring and find the right fit at the next level.
Below, we highlight 34 senior prospects, who have attended a PBR showcase and posted 85+ mph for position velo and exit velo. These metrics serve as a benchmark to indicate well rounded skillsets that generally find a place at the next level based on our database history. They don't necessarily make or break prospects given so much to evaluate and consider when making position player roster decisions, but provide a solid base to expand upon the player's recruiting profile. Of the 34 featured prospects, 22 have committed with 11 division one commits and 12 uncommitted. There will be many players to join this group as the All-State Preseason Showcase Series opens up our 2021 event schedule. Interested in getting in the mix?
