Jacob Jarrell C / SS / Wilson, SC / 2021

Sneaky athletic catcher with a strong frame. Simple RH swing with a toe tap timing mechanism and slight uphill path. Flashed some pop at the PeeDee Regional I.D. Good bend in the hips and low set up. Sure hands and quick exchanges.  

 

 



Jacob Jarrell (C, Wilson, 2021) 

Dylan Johnson C / C / White Knoll, SC / 2021

Tall lanky build has started to fill out nicely. Was off to a strong start to the HS season. Quick hands, short direct bat path. Wants to use the whole field. Has seen an increase in juice as he has added some weight. Athletic set up receives the ball well at the edges. Accurate arm with carry. 

 

 


Dylan Johnson (C, White Knoll, 2021) 


Cameron Howard C / 3B / Fort Dorchester, SC / 2021

Physical catchers build. Thick lower half. Wants to elevate the ball at the plate. Powerful lower half and uphill path. Showed ability to get on plane and get extension through contact at the Top Prospect Game. Solid avg defensive skills. Quick, sure hands and consistent transfers. Put throws to the arm side of the bag.

 

 


Cameron Howard (C, Fort Dorchester, 2021) 

Caleb Oakley C / OF / Pee Dee Academy, SC / 2021

Uber athletic catcher with the ability to easily play the OF. 6.74 sixty time at the PeeDee Regional ID. Balanced stance and line drive approach with a flatter bat path. Good bend in the hips. Soft hands and accurate throws. 

 

 


Caleb Oakley (C, PeeDee Acad., 2021) 

Gavin Phillips C / 3B / Andrew Jackson, SC / 2021

Broad shoulders and medium catchers build. Works hard for his staff in game. Works up hill to contact with gap to gap power present. Quick transfers and a short OTT arm slot. Quick footwork and solid avg. block and recover.
