MD Top Prospect Games II

Strong, solid body type and 5’9’’, 185 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth back load showing some hand separation and a small leg kick. Short to the ball with a slightly uphill swing path that has a tendency to level out at times. Creates some bat speed through the zone and stays behind the ball well with strong lower half involvement. Gets good extension past contact and finishes strong with two hands. Gap type hitter with strength and power present. Recorded an 82 mph exit velocity. Quick, clean exchanges behind the plate and accurate throws to second base. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 76 mph. Ball showed carry and pop times ranged 1.96 - 2.06. Ran a 7.88 60-yard time.
