The I-10 Border Battle took place on Saturday, January 19th at Joe Miller Park, home of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. The invite only event featured 75+ prospects – from across the state of Louisiana and Texas - complete the 60-yard dash, positional workouts, live batting practice with exit velocity station, followed by live game action. Here's a look at the numbers from Saturday's event.

Henry Cooper Huspen (Allen (TX), 2020) clocked the quickest 60 of the event, posting a time of 6.63-seconds. Weston Valasek (Tompkins (TX), 2020), clocked a time of 6.76-seconds, while Dalton Davis (Montgomery (TX), 2019) posted a time of 6.81-seconds. Cole Stromboe (Brother Martin (LA), 2020) and Tommy Ivey (Kingwood Park (TX), 2019) followed suit, with times of 6.86-seconds and 6.91-seconds respectively.
Brooks Auger (Cedar Creek (LA), 2020) topped the fastball leaderboard touching 88 mph on Saturday. Will Clements (The Woodlands College Park (TX), 2020) and Jalen Davenport (Klein Collins (TX), 2020) touched 87 mph, while Konor Baird (Salado (TX), 2020) ran his fastball up to 85 mph.
Trey Vento (Harlingen South (TX), 2020) registered an event best 97 mph exit velocity. While Colton Parker (Simpson (LA), 2020) posted a 93 mph exit velocity and Andrew Carter (Montgomery (TX), 2020) registered 92 mph. Tommy Ivey (Kingwood Park (TX), 2019), Bryce Johnson (McKinney High (TX), 2021) and Josh Phillips (Bridgeland (TX), 2021) also showed off quality bat speed, registering 90 mph.
Sergio Guerra (San Diego (TX), 2021) showed off his arm strength on Sunday, posting an event best 87 mph positional velocity. While Gavin Guidry (Barbe (LA), 2022) showed off advanced arm strength across the diamond, posting an 86 mph positional velocity. While Jack Pruitt (Reedy (TX), 2020), and Clayton Miller (Stratford (TX), 2020) registered 84 mph across the diamond.
Bryce Johnson (McKinney High (TX), 2021) topped the leaderboard at 84 mph, followed by Henry Cooper Husepen (Allen (TX), 2020) with a positional velocity of 83 mph. While Tommy Ivey (Kingwood Park (TX), 2019), Cole Stromboe (Brother Martin (LA), 2020) and Zeb Ruddell (Neville (LA), 2022) each posted positional velocities of 82 mph.
Sergio Guerra (San Diego (TX), 2021) topped the leader board with an 79 mph positional velocity. While, Beckett Vine (St. John’s (TX), 2020) and Parker Serio (Jesuit (LA), 2020) posted 77 mph positional velocities. Rounding out the leaderboard, Benjamin David (Barbe (LA), 2020), Jake Harvill (Evangel (LA), 2020), Bailyn Sorensen (Riverfield (LA), 2021), and Mason Tomchesson (Klein Collins (TX), 2019) all posted 76 mph positional velocities.
