LINCOLN, CA. - It's no secret and very evident that Ochoa is one of the top pitching prospects in the State. He has shocked many by transferring out of Petaluma HS; and now has taken his talents to Casa Grande HS. On this day Ochoa made quick work of some really good seasoned hitters and at times made them look confused. Standing 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, Ochoa has the frame and shape that projects well for pitching, having length in his lower half and squared up shoulders. The arm is loose and fast attacking from a high-3/4 release with a full 4-pitch arsenal.

Ochoa was flat out carving up hitters during his live session seen here, and with numerous decision makers in attendance, he has firmly planted his name in the discussion as a legitimate professional pitching prospect. When the 2021 MLB Draft rolls around he will be considered in the top few rounds.
