Athletic, square shouldered build. Runs a 6.96 60. The LHH sets up open with a stride that gains ground and gets back to even. Hands are quiet early; gets on plane with the ball and explodes through contact with some slight lift to his finish. Present juice to the gaps; doubles-triples bat over the long term. In the outfield Berta shows an aggressive approach; moderate arm swing and thros come out on a line and hold carry. On the mound Berta uses a short side step up to a belt high leg drive; high 3/4 slot working 82-84 MPH with an above average breaking ball that showed 2-to-8 action at 68-72 MPH. Fairfield�commit.�
