LOS ANGELES, CA. - As the state and nation head toward a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the completion of the high school baseball season, we do have an updated Power 25 to post.

With two wins last week both JSerra and Orange Lutheran remained in the top two spots. No. 3 De La Salle avenged their only loss of 2019 by defeating St. Francis but then traveled to Jesuit and suffered their first lost in over a calendar year, falling 5-1 to the Mauraders and dropping a bit in the Power 25. Harvard-Westlake, with a 2-0 week takes over the No. 3 spot, while La Mirada, though idle for the week, moves up to No. 4, with De La Salle rounding out the top five spots.

Buchanan rises to No. 11, swapping spots with Eastlake, which suffered their first loss of 2019. Two teams fell out of the Power 25, opening up spots for new teams to enter. We welcome Archbishop Mitty at No. 25 and Acalanes re-enters at No. 16 after a clerical error temporarily removed the Dons. Both are legitimate contenders in their respective sections.

We present this week's Power 25, which we hope isn't the final one of 2020.

Be safe and be smart and we hope to see you at the yard soon!
